 Every piece of furniture in our product line is constructed with the highest-grade materials available. We use furniture-grade maple plywood for the majority of our products. This ¾” veneer provides additional product integrity and strength, adding to the life of our product.
- We use a catalyzed varnish that is a high-quality, heavy-duty coating - far superior to our competition.
- All joints are glued and screwed, then covered with wooden pegs for a more sturdy construction and smooth look.
- Our edges are all rounded and sanded smooth for children’s safety and a clean look (E).
- We offer pinch-proof door openings in most of our kitchen units to keep small fingers safe (G).
- We started using full-length piano hinges twenty years ago and continue to do so because of the added strength to the finished product (C).
- Our adjustable shelving units have aluminum tracking and our ceiling hooks are caste aluminum for added strength and durability (A, F).
- We use sturdy rubber casters on all our mobile products. Our Teacher Storage Cabinets have 5” solid rubber casters with locks and our Booktrucks have 5” double-plastic wheels with locks. All casters are secured in place with either four screws or four bolts, depending on the size of the caster (C, D).
- Wrap-around hinges on our Computer Cabinets allow the doors to swing all the way back and stay out of the way (H).
- Cam locks are standard on our Computer Cabinets, AV Cabinets, Teacher Storage units and more (B,).
- All our products are manufactured to Woodworking Institute of California (W.I.C.) standards or better.
